The Hunt – The Environment: The Night Sky

After the bear gets shot, we gradually move from a colourful sunset to a dark night sky. The beauty of the night is fully revealed as the bear gets to the cliff. We enter act 3, in which the stars become the main environment and almost a character in themselves. These shots needed to feel beautiful and peaceful, showing that is where the bear truly belongs. Again, I painted the sky on a dome. This makes the sky curved, which is really effective to tie shot 26 together. The cliff looks even more impressive as the curves of the sky help our eye flow from left to right and on the sharp edges of the cliff.
