Red in Roma

I have recently spent a few days in Rome. At the start of the trip, I got a small sketchbook as well as a red marker. I quite liked the style of my first drawing and I thought it would be interesting to keep by its rules: whenever I would see the colour red in a nice composition, I would draw it. Looking for red in a city helps tie my drawings together, giving them a certain sense of narrative or at least a common theme.
I think I’ll try making more Travel Diaries while giving myself a set of rules, I find the result quite interesting.
