Maplefish

Leo’s friend, the golden fish Achillo just died. He is really sad and decides to bury it in a field. But the task is harder than he thought and it is getting dark and windy. A gust of wind from a nearby maple tree releases samaras (seeds) and they spin out to the ground. One of them falls on top of the dead fish which startles the boy. He then starts to imagine what would happen if a tree were to grow from this seed.
He imagines an old big maple tree with roots growing out from the fish. It would be sumptuous and special, different from any other tree. Its leaves would be shaped into small fishes that would slowly come to life until the wind releases them and they can swim freely in the air.
