Szimpla Kert is a pub, an open-air cinema, a contemporary art exhibition, and a farmers’ market. It is the sort of place where you will be enjoying some palinka shots with friends and someone will walk up to you and offer you actual carrots. Because who wouldn’t want to eat a carrot in the middle of the night? Szimpla Kert is a ruin pub, and in my opinion, the most beautiful one.
